Can You Make This Ahead Of Time?- Yep! This is a great recipe to make the night before and may even taste better if the ingredients have a little more time to get to know each other! Place the flour on a large plate and season with salt and pepper. Put the eggs and milk in a shallow bowl and beat together. Add the panko breadcrumbs to another bowl.

SOUR CREAM – You could probably use reduced fat or light Sour Cream if you’d like. You can also use Plain Greek Yogurt.

Cream Cheese –This recipe uses the full fat version but feel free to use reduced or low fat, or even fat free cream cheese. Just be sure to soften it close to room temperature so its easily mixed. Ham– Use any deli ham you like. Smoked, honey, maple, peppered, etc. If getting it from the deli counter, make sure they slice it thin. Ham – Grab your favorite ham from the deli and chop it up fine. You can also use dried or chipped beef, corned beef, or even salami. CHOPPED HAM – Again, you can just chop up leftover ham, or buy some deli ham, or use the ham cubes you can buy at the store. Or substitute corned beef of chipped beef. Really any “salty meat” will work.

They were created by Mr Brannigan, a shopkeeper of Irish heritage, who launched his popular crisps from his market stall. Therefore, sadly, production was no longer commercially viable and the product had to be discontinued. WHIPPED CREAM CHEESE – Whipped Cream Cheese is best for this recipe. But you can use softened regular cream cheese. But make sure you soften it close to room temperature. I would recommend using full fat, not any of the reduced fat stuff. For some extra flavor, you can use Vegetable Cream Cheese. First: In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine sour cream and softened cream cheese until thoroughly mixed. The UK favourite, which was popularised in the 1980s, has been cut from KP due to “declining demand”.London restaurants react to the new coronavirus curfew on hospitality, which will need government financial support to avoid further devastating the sector. USE LEFTOVER HAM – If you still need to entertain after the holidays, this is a GREAT use for leftover ham. But you can use chipped beef or corned beef if you want. Melt the butter in a large frying pan on a medium heat and fry the toasties for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until crisp and golden-brown. To make the toastie, cut the crusts off the bread and spread the béchamel on two slices of bread. Sprinkle over the gruyere and chives and add the shredded ham before topping with the remaining slices of bread and squash down to seal.
